Mix salt into the flour in a large bowl.
Mix yeast with sugar in 125 ml of hand-warm water, whisk, and leave in a warm place.
Sift the flour into a bowl and add the yeast mixture, kneading thoroughly until smooth dough forms.
Allow dough to rest while washing the bowl, then knead lightly on a floured surface for a few minutes.
Replace dough in the bowl, cover with cling film, and put somewhere warm until the dough has risen to double its size.
Roll out dough to 0.5 cm thick.
Remove to a floured board and roll out to 0.5 cm thick.
Make into one large round or cut out several small ones with a saucer.
Place on a greased baking tray, prick the top here and there with a fork, and prove for 15 minutes.
Pre-heat the oven to 190°C.
Bake for 30 minutes until golden.
Brush the top with melted butter and serve while warm.
